I’m leaving Jeff….

for this Peanut Butter….

Seriously. I had it four times today. FOUR.

I. am. in. love. You think I’m kidding. If it were legal to marry Peanut Butter, I would.

My obsession started early this morning before my spin class when I spread some on a piece of toast to fuel. It was all downhill from there. I had to have it all day. I proceeded to layer in onto my Waffle Sandwich after spin

If you’ve never tried this peanut butter, GO OUT AND BUY IT RIGHT NOW and eat it directly from the jar. You will not be disappointed.

After class today, I walked around for 15 minutes in the pouring rain trying to find my car in the parking lot.  I went to a hour long class and met with my advisor for 10 minutes and for some reason I couldn’t for the life of me remember where I parked. I’m so ridiculous!

When I finally found my car, I drove home and registered for my Spring 2010 classes!!!!

Here’s what I’m taking:

  • Magazine Writing
  • Info Strategies for Journalists
  • Expository Writing
  • Narrative Journalism
  • Opinion Writing (maybe)

I’m psyched! No more Gen Eds. YAY!

I was starving when I got home so I  heated up some leftover Penne with Chicken Sausage from Monday night

I had a couple blocks of Dark Chocolate for dessert.

And for a snack before my pilates class?…Do you really have to ask?

More Cinnamon Raisin Swirl PB on a piece of toasted whole wheat bread. (No picture, sorry)

Something I learned today: Pilates is REALLY hard when you haven’t gone to a class in a couple weeks. My abs are going to KILL me tomorrow! I’m so glad I went though. I’ve missed my double workout out Wednesdays (spinning in the am and pilates in the pm)  I was determined to go tonight.

Before I left for class, I prepped dinner and Jeff cooked/baked it while I killed worked my core on a yoga mat.

I present to you…

Baked Porkchops with Apples

Served with broccoli and a baked potato stuffed with apple butter. This meal was my second favorite thing of the day. The first was obviously the Cinnamon Swirl PB…duh

With dinner, I had small glass of this:

Blueberry Wine

I got this bottle at a Winery Booth at the Apple Festival a couple weeks ago. We cracked it open at our Halloween Party over the weekend. It is so yummy!

I know I’ve professed my love for all things blueberry in the past but I just need to say it again. I love blueberries. Phew.

Hello. My name is Rebecca and I’m addicted to blueberries….and Cinnamon Swirl Peanut Butter.

Speaking of Cinnamon Swirl PB, guess what I had for dessert!?

Oh no she didn’t…

IMG_1232

Oh yes I did. I topped 1/2 a banana with about a Tbs of Cinnamon Swirl PB and 1/2 a block of Dark Chocolate and popped it in the microwave for 10 seconds.

*Explodes*

This jar isn’t going to last me very long….

What is your favorite type/brand of nut butter?

Quote of the night:

Jeff: How much peanut butter have you had today!?!?!?

My answer? Not enough.

Have a great Thursday!

I love almond butter, TJ brand. Barney Butter is amazing, too, but way too expensive. Sorry, Rebecca, I’ll have to say I really dislike the PB & Co brand…way too sweet for me!

My favorite has to be the maple almond butter I got from Whole Foods once. It was just sweet enough.

I haven’t bought and PB&Co yet because I’ve heard it is addicting and I don’t want to down an entire jar in one day (I’ve done this in the past with regular PB so it is possible).

I’ve gone through a jar of that, not going to lie. I love PB&Co. and Naturally Nutty. You can’t go wrong with either

The peanut butter co. knows what they are doing. I’ll have to get this flavor next.

I’ve seen tht brand before, but I haven’t tried any yet. I think it would fall into one of those categories of things that can’t be brought into the house like baked cheetos, soda, and ice cream. P.S. Thanks for entering the giveaway on my blog for two breast cancer awareness prize packs. http://lovinlosing.com/

I will always remember fondly the very first time I went into a Whole Foods…. I had just moved into my first place I owned my myself in Oak Park, IL, and had gone for a run to explore the new neighborhood. I stumbled across a WF…. and by the time I came out it was dark out because I had been in there for at least an hour just wandering the aisles, even though I didnt even have any money with me!

And I must say that the one item I specifically remember being PSYCHED about was the PB&Co. dark chocolate flavor…. oh my oh my, is it fabulous. I literally am forbidden to buy this stuff because it wont last me a full day!!
