Sweaty Step Aerobics and Cookies!

July 2, 2009

I seriously have never sweat so much in my life as I did at my Step Aerobics Class tonight. It was completely and utterly ridiculous.  My hair was dripping. It was a great workout though. If you can handle being very sweaty for an hour, I definitely recommend it. It works and tones your whole body. The instructor was so much fun too! She was singing along with the music and really having a good time. I’m definitely going back!

Have you ever tried Step Aerobics?  What is the sweatiest workout you’ve ever done?

After my sweaty step class, I had this to cool me down

2-7applesauce

Mott’s Blueberry Delight Applesauce. It was my last one! I have to get more of these things. They’re amazing!

Jeff and I made a quick trip to the grocery store. I am making Blueberry, Peach, and Banana Oatmeal Pancakes tomorrow for my friend,Dara and her friend Ian. They’re going to be at my apartment bright and early.

For dinner, I had a Veggie Burger

2-7veggie2

I topped it with half a slice of swiss cheese, baby spinach, grape tomatoes, and ketchup.  I had broccoli and cherries on the side.  The burger was huge and I couldn’t finish it. I left room for dessert though!

2-7cookie

A Kashi Oatmeal Dark Chocolate Cookie with a glass of skim milk. :-)

Can you believe that I am still cleaning my apartment?

What are your plans for the weekend?

I haven’t heard much about spinning for a while! Have you been going back? I wish I could go to step, but you have to be super coordinated I find, and I can never get the steps together fast enough! Haha, glad you like it though!

It was really easy to pick up! I used to dance so it was easy for me. If if weren’t for that, I would have been falling all over the place! I haven’t gone back to spin yet. I’ve been trying other classes! I will soon though! Don’t worry!

Step aerobics is a blast, and it always leaves me quite sweaty as well. But Bikram yoga is the winner for a sweat inducing workout. During the 90 minute sessions, sweat drips off all parts of me, and when entering the different poses my limbs slide over each other as if they are coated in oil. Any clothing that was in contact with my skin is soaked through. Fun, fun!

Wow! I’ve never tried Bikram Yoga! It sounds interesting and fun! I’ll need to bring a towel next time I try either of the classes though!
